ABOUT THE PROJECT
Lucid is a gripping psychological thriller that follows Zel, a socially anxious young man whose world is turned upside down when his mysterious neighbour offers to help him face his fears. What begins as a hopeful journey into self-discovery soon spirals into something far more unpredictable and intense.
The film premiered at the 2018 Edinburgh International Film Festival, where it was praised for its originality and emotional depth. Variety called it “a bracingly original film, packed with provocative moments and dark resonance.”
Lucid was nominated for the prestigious Michael Powell Award at the festival.
