Biography
Timo Jagersberger is an Austrian composer working across film, television, and video games. His music blends emotional depth with subtle sonic experimentation — combining acoustic instrumentation, electronics, and textural sound design to support powerful storytelling.
He has collaborated on projects alongside renowned composers such as Walter Mair, contributing music to high-profile productions including Netflix’s Formula 1: Drive to Survive, Amazon Prime’s Rooney, and the multi-award-winning Oxfam film The Heist No One Is Talking About. His work can also be heard in independent films and documentaries like Lone Star Bull and The Decision, ads for Canal+, as well as video games such as Weaving Tides and NIVA.
Timo’s background spans film scoring, game audio, and ambient composition. His personal band project Milking Mice allows him to explore musical ideas beyond screen media, rooted in emotion and atmosphere.
Currently based in Carinthia, Austria, Timo is preparing for doctoral studies in artistic research. His academic interests focus on sound perception, immersive audio environments, and the relationship between emotion and sonic communication.
Vision
Timo sees music as more than craft — it is communication at its most direct and human. His work aims to speak where words fall short: creating emotional resonance through sound, whether for a game, a film, or an abstract research question.
He believes in the beauty of collaboration, the discipline of listening, and the value of cross-pollinating artistic and academic worlds. In the years ahead, Timo’s mission is to compose meaningful music, teach emerging creators, and contribute to a deeper understanding of sound through research.
